The houses depict different developmental areas of life that we must address
during our life span.
Events in life take place within the backdrop of these different areas.

1st House
The physical characteristics of the individual, and the image the individual projects
outward to others and  society.  The 1st also depicts the individuals level of
strength, how he responds to illness and stress.

2nd House
Self-worth, personal resources and money. How the individual handles money
issues. If the individual does not value/respect financial resources and other
resources, we also look to the second house.

3rd House
Communication, point of view, mindset, thought life, ability to retain knowledge,
state of mind, short term travel (opportunities that bring new ideas: seminars),
interaction (communication) with siblings .

4th House
Early home life and it’s influence later in life.  The 4th represents one of the
parents, often the father, but not necessarily.  The “father” archetype often (not
always) establishes the rules and culture of the early home setting.  Family
traditions is a 4th house concern.

5th House
The level of ability to give love.  Creativity and all that we create, including
children.  Creativity can include efforts involving: teaching, drama,  work or artistic
projects, romance and courtship.   

6th House  
Daily life, including employment, health, and the ability to work with others or
supervise others.   Skills or certification acquired to maintain or improve job
position.

7th House
Legal or formal agreements in relationships; including marriage, and business
associations.  Descriptions of those individuals in agreement with the individual.  
Also may describe those individuals not in agreement,  or disagreeing with the
individual.

8th House
The benefits or “earning” from formal agreements in business or marriage.  Sex,
inheritances, business gains,  taxes, increased earning or wealth via the marriage
or business relationship.  Also: healing, occult interests, and crisis.

9th House
The big picture: philosophy  or life view.  Higher Education, long traveling
experiences (change of view), religion, metaphysical perspectives.  Publishing
(ideas bearing fruit).

10th House
Ambition, career (not just a job), society view of the individual and social standing,
scandals or public fall from grace or honor, the other parent.  

11th House
Receptivity to being loved by friends (those chosen by the individual), love
received, salaries (money given by boss/company/others)  hopes and goals in
life.  Clubs and professional organizations, choices the individual makes regarding
those he interacts with.

12th House
Transformations: improving, changing, redirecting life physically and mentally.  
Self undoing, destroying or harming self.  Prison and/or hospitalization.  After
visible life, reincarnation, the occult.
