What is a birth chart and why is it important?

Most astrology consultations depend on, or are based upon a persons birth
chart. A birth chart is quite unique.  The position of the planets and stars are
estimated to return to the same uniform positions only once every
(approximate) 26,000 years.  Each birth chart is a visual representation of the
planets, the Sun and Moon, at the individuals birth time. Thus each consultation
is unique, based upon an individuals astrological birth chart. A chart taken from
the vast Universe and  the specific location of the planets and the individuals
location on the earth.  Location not just within the space of our biosphere, but
our place in the ever changing progress of the sun and solar system. The
horoscope is really much more than ancient Greek mythology,  it is a real sets
of planets observable throughout our lives.

To prove the validity of astrology based upon objective science is difficult.
But many science based studies have proven correlations between astrological
indicators and human personality.  But the reality truly become significant to
the astrologer that sees the interpretations dramatized in the lives of clients
seeking meaning from their natal (birth) chart and personal forecast.

Briefly, the bases of astrology is contained in the idea that we are a part of
the greater universe, the seasons, times, biological world and the universe at
large play a part in our creation and evolution.  The church for centuries
simultaneously approved and disapproved different aspects of astrology.
Church scientists could easily see the influence of the birth chart in an
individuals life, but also resisted astrology in that it seemed to suggest fate
as a controlling agent.  I like to think that we, like bread, are made of various
substances, contributory factors, influences that limit or expand our
potential.   However, we also have the choice to pursue or neglect that
potential.  And interestingly when I interpret a chart, I like to point out the
wonderful opportunities suggested, as well as the options to neglect or deny
    one's possibilities.

So what can be gained from your personal astrology birth chart and resulting
consultation?  First of all, an amazingly accurate picture of you, including
details about areas that you can, or most likely do place focus. Areas such: as
friends, family, career, entertainment, hobbies, health, romance, and important
relationships.  But what is really cool is that in the consultation we can look at
those personal historical events that dramatically influence your current
behavior. We can expand the consultation to include predictive information.
Meaning astrological details about your personal history can be revealed and we
can project into the future important upcoming events.

On a very practical level once the birth chart is established, we can also
consider an individuals career. An analysis of the vocational possibilities can be
fun but also amazingly useful. This is especially useful considering the number
of people changing vocations and often suggesting unhappiness with their past
    career decisions.

Also with one's birth chart,  it is possible to compare it with a friend or lovers
chart to see how you "mesh" or work together (synastry).  This same approach
can be taken regarding potential working relationships or partnerships.  Will
both parties contribute to the business, or will there be an imbalance?

With your personal chart completed lots of interesting additional options
become available.  For example: we can look at your forecast, find time times
that promise positive changes, and opportune moments to take action.  Also you
can look back over the years and pinpoint interesting astrological events, often
those events correspond to significant happy changes or difficult times you
have experienced. Not happy where you are located?  What about expanding
your birth chart to include relocation options. How would your chart change for
the better or worse at a new location?
